About Me

L. Mack: Buffalo , NY, United States; Photography is the primary way in which I relate and react to the world around me. I view what I do with my camera as documenting. I create tangible objects that I can hold onto for my own memory, as well as to share with others. As I struggle to figure out this complex world and the role I play in it, I grasp onto that which is most accessible to me – my surroundings. In attempt to understand myself, I photograph the subjects around me. This allows me to hold onto something concrete and stable in a reality that is anything but that.
